For over 30 years, I worked as a hairstylist in my little salon in Lifford — Karen Harkin Professional. It was a place full of chats, curls, colour, and craic… but over the years, something kept happening. More and more women were sitting in my chair, quietly telling me they were losing their hair and didn’t know where to turn.
I realised very quickly that traditional hairdressing wasn’t enough anymore.
Women needed help, support, privacy, and proper solutions, and I wanted to be the person who could give them that.
So I made a decision that completely changed my path:
I closed my salon and turned my focus fully to hair loss, hair enhancers, and confidence restoration. Today, Karen Harkin Hair Enhancers is a dedicated private studio where women can feel safe, understood, and empowered again.
